About Us

A warm welcome to Blue House Pottery, a husband and wife team with a shared love of pottery.

All of our pottery is either hand thrown on the potter's wheel or built using slab building techniques. Each piece of pottery is uniquely decorated with either a slip trailed design, or by careful 'sgraffito' carving through layers of coloured slips. No two pieces are the same.

If you can't find exactly what you're looking for please get in touch as we are often able to take commissions for specific projects.

There is nothing quite like someone purchasing our one off pieces and finding loving new homes for them. Talking with people who buy our work is always exciting and we never know where our pottery may end up.
